The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) joins the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) and State DOTs to bring awareness to work zone safety among crew members and drivers in April.

Jackson, Miss. —The Mississippi Transportation Commission is pleased to announce E. Paige Easley of Carriere has been admitted into the internship program for public affairs at the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

JACKSON, MISS. – Every quarterback needs a lineman to help him make it to the end zone safely. Every fan that has a drink needs a designated driver to help him or her make it home safely. 

Crews will alternately close the northbound and southbound lanes along the Interstate 55 South Project in Hinds County for debris removal. Both the inside and outside lanes will be affected by this closure at alternating times.
